What is Celeste?

Celeste is the gastronomical area of Don Carlos. We let course to our creativity with a great amount of technique and savoir faire, the best fresh products from the central market of Alicante, as from Wednesday to Saturday inclusive, lunch and dinner under reservation.

With a capacity of a máximum of 22 people in Celeste, we have created a different gastronomical concept in Alicante.

It is our firm intention that you enjoy the food, and you feel cherished and listened at all times with our professional, friendly and easy going approach, which characterises us since 1985.



How we work and our concept

We believe in total liberty and a cultural mix within gastronomy, and we understand cooking as a nice bond between human beings.

We have the firmest intention to cook for them and serve them quality dishes in an elegant and discrete environment with a profesional and friendly approach, which have characterised us since 1985. We invite them to discover Celeste where, more than being a customer, we want you to feel cherished and listened to, and in return for you to see us as more as a chef or a waiter that merely crosses your paths. We cook and work with technique, passion, desire and much tenderness in order to deliver the best dishes possible. We want to leave a trace so that you remember our small restaurant as one of the best in the region, as have often stated critics and some of our own customers.

Upon our customer’s arrival, we give him/her a warm welcome to Celeste.

After being seated, we make three basic questions and upon those answers, we create a menu “sur mesure”.

As simple as answering these questions:

Do you have any allergy? Is there any ingredient you do not like?

Do you have a preference for meat, fish, vegetables or would you like to try a bit of everything?

Do you drink wine & alcohol?

What do you reckon? Quite simple, is it not?

Once we know your answers, we prepare a tasting menu with wine pairing or any beverage taking into account your tastes and preferences.

    Authentic dishes from the classical recipebook of the emblematic Hotel Ritz Paris. Only under reservation for those with an acquired taste. Haute cuisine from the Parisian Palace. Classical recipes from Auguste Escoffier– wine pairing with National and International wines, cocktails and champagnes.
